Nicole was born in Florida and has lived around the State her whole life. Nicole recently welcomed her son Ryker into the world, and loves to see him change each and every day. Nicole is also an avid sports fan, and cheers on her team “The Florida Gator’s” each and every game.
Nicole attended the University of Florida where she duel majored and received a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology (B.A.), and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (B.S.). After graduating from the University of Florida, she attended Stetson University College of Law. Nicole received her Juris Doctorate (J.D) degree, and graduated in the top 5% of her class.
While attending Law School, Nicole interned with a Federal Court Judge where she was able to observe Federal cases, and most importantly write opinions on Federal Civil cases. Nicole also clerked with the State Attorney’s Office for the Sixth Judicial Circuit. Here she was certified to prosecute cases under the direction of a licensed attorney.
Experience and Advocacy
Nicole obtained employment with the State Attorney’s office while she was studying for her Bar Exam. After Nicole was admitted to the Florida Bar, she continued to work at the State Attorney’s Office as an Assistant State Attorney for four (4) years. During her time at the State Attorney’s Office, Nicole prosecuted hundreds of cases ranging from misdemeanor DUI’s and Batteries to Life Felonies.
In 2009, Nicole was promoted to position of Lead Trial Attorney over one of the Pinellas County misdemeanor divisions. Nicole also served as a prosecutor in traffic court, and was responsible for prosecuting drunk driving offenses and other related traffic crimes.
While serving as an Assistant State Attorney, Nicole tried over fifty (50) jury trials, and obtained valuable courtroom experience.
